Peabody-Burns sends one to state meet

Mya Winter was Peabody-Burns’ lone qualifier over the weekend at the state track meet in Wichita.

Winter’s time in the 1600 meters of 6:11.56 was nearly five seconds faster than her qualifying time at regionals. She ran the first lap with the lead runners before eventually dropping back to finish in 15th.
