Peabody Achievers visit pumpkin patch

The monthly meeting of the Peabody Achievers 4-H Club was called to order by president, Zac Goodwin on Sunday, October 16, at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch to celebrate 4-H Sunday.

Minutes were read and a motion to accept the minutes was made by Corin Parmley and Tyler Entz seconded the motion. The motion passed.

Jennifer Gaines read a letter from Marion County Farm Bureau. They donated $30 to the club.

Tyler Entz read the 4-H Council report. The club is in charge of the program at the county Achievement Night to held on Nov. 4.

Premium checks were handed out from Tri-County Fair. Hoodie sweatshirts were discussed. Two designs for the shirts were presented, with one design having an overwhelming vote.

The new yearbooks and calendars were handed out to each family. The program was enrollment and participation forms.

The next meeting will be Sunday, Nov. 6. Morgan Gaines moved to adjourn the meeting and Corin Parmley seconded the motion and it carried.
