Peabody Achievers plan holiday events

Club reporter

The Peabody Achievers 4-H Club met on Nov. 6 in the Peabody-Burns Elementary School music room.

Future workshops were discussed and dates were given for each event.

Hooded sweatshirts are being purchased for each 4-H member.

Members enrolled in the leadership project were invited to help decorate PBES on Nov. 11.

Club members and their families will sing Christmas carols Dec. 4 and they will be collecting food items for the local food bank.

Holiday door hangers were made by the members and will be given to each resident at Peabody Care Center while caroling.

The meeting was adjourned by 7:10 p.m., followed by refreshments.
