Peabody Achievers meet at the HUB

The Peabody Achievers 4-H Club had its monthly meeting Monday at the HUB.

This was Family Fun Night. There were 18 members, 11 parents, two leaders, and two guests present. Roll call was answered with a paper good item that was donated to the HUB.

The club will continue to pay for the 4-H Journal for their members. There will be a foods meeting on Saturday. Anna Lubbers, treasurer, provided the treasurer’s report.

Shawn Entz, community leader, shared that the Entz and Parks families had gone to Goessel’s 4-H meeting and enjoyed how they lead their meetings. They are looking forward to making some changes in the Peabody Achievers meetings.

4-H Club Day results were announced. Entz reminded all members to be sure to read the newsletter because there are many activities and deadlines coming up. Stacey Parks, community leader, also spoke briefly about the 4-H Endowment Committee, and asked for a volunteer from our club to be a representative on this committee.

There was no unfinished business and no new business. We sang Happy Birthday to all members with a March birthday. The meeting was adjourned. After the meeting, the members of our club enjoyed spending time at the HUB.
