A meeting of Peabody Achievers 4-H Club was Jan. 8 in the Peabody-Burns Elementary School music room.

President Zac Goodwin opened the meeting and the minutes were read by Secretary Brandon Entz.

Members of the Tampa Triple T 4-H Club came to evaluate the meeting.

The Club sang “Happy Birthday” to those members who had a January birthday. “Thank you” cards from Doris Winkler and Vada Ann McPheeters were read to the members.

The program was given by Mackenzie Young, Cody Parmley, and Corin Parmley.

Club members will be participating in the 4-H Day at the Kansas State Lady Wildcats basketball game on Feb. 18.

Recreation was led by Jack Parks and refreshments were provided by the Gaines and Goodwin families.
