PBJH girls lose two games

Peabody-Burns Junior High School basketball team lost both games this past week to Little River and Goessel.

The Tomahawks competed at home Nov. 20 against Little River and lost, 36-9.

Paige Lewis and Rayna Barnes were PBJH high-scorers with four points each.

Kelsie Nobel contributed a free throw.

Against Goessel Nov. 24, PBJH doubled its scoring output, but still lost, 32-18.

Barnes was the team’s leading scorer with eight points, Lewis had six, and Brandee Burnett and MacKenzie Ensminger each had two.
