Peabody-Burns High School music and drama will present the musical melodrama, “Tied to the Tracks,” at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 and at 3 p.m. Nov. 14 in the Brown Building Auditorium.
The production tells the story of stalwart Sheriff Billy Bold and the delicate Dakota Melody as they resist the evil machinations of Silias Scavenger and Wild Prairie Rose. As the story unfolds, the heroine finds herself bound to a railway track, helplessly watching a locomotive racing toward her. Only one man can snatch her from this unworthy fate and bring justice to a thriving territory. Will Sheriff Billy Bold save Dakota Melody from the train? Will Silias Scavenger and Wild Prairie Rose be brought to justice?
Tickets will soon be available from cast members and the PBHS office.
