Peabody-Burns Athletic Director Ray Savage has announced the Winter-Spring Athletic Banquet will begin at 7 p.m. April 22 in the Brown Gymnasium.

Athletes to be honored are those high school students who participated in basketball, basketball cheerleading, golf, and track during the 2012-13 school year. Senior plaques also will be awarded and athletes of the year will be named.

The banquet will follow the same format as the Fall Athletic Banquet. It will be a dessert banquet and each family is being asked to bring a dessert—cookies, cake, brownies, pie, cheesecake, or any other type of dessert at 6:45 p.m. The desserts will be placed on a common table for serving. Ice cream will be provided by the athletic department along with drinks and tableware.

The desserts will be available from 7 to 7:15 p.m. with the coaches’ presentations to follow.

“And as always, please remember this is a banquet and dress accordingly,” Savage reminded.
