Jason Unruh, a 2007 graduate of Peabody-Burns High School has been selected as a member of Hesston College’s premier mixed vocal ensemble, the Bel Canto Singers.

Members of the 19-member group were selected following competitive auditions in the spring.

They will perform a concert entitled “Jehovah Abides Forever” this fall.

During the 2008-09 school year the Bel Canto Singers will perform at major Hesston College events, in local churches, on tour, and by special invitation.

Unruh is the son of Lewis and Carrie Unruh of rural Peabody.
