PBHS boys 2nd, girls 3rd in CKTL meet

Peabody-Burns High School track team competed April 19 at Peabody in the Central Kansas Track League meet. The girls team placed third out of four teams and the boys team placed second.

Girls

Silvia Flores: 2. Long jump, 14 feet, 2 inches; 4. 100-meter dash, fourth, 14.27 seconds.

Paige Lewis: 1. 300-meter intermediate hurdles, 53.77; 2. 100-meter hurdles, 17.45.

Beckah McCullough: 6. 100, 14.60.

Lauren Pickens: 1. 100, 12.45; 200-meter dash, 25.64; 1. 400-meter run, 1:03.

4x100-meter relay team (McCullough, Pickens, Lewis, Flores): 2. 54.51.

Boys

Lucas Larsen: 2. Shot put, 36-5; 3. javelin, 110-11.

Allen McLaughlin: 5. 400, 1:11.28; 5. long jump, 15-5.

Spencer Moffett: 1. Discus, 102-3.5; 1. javelin, 136-9; 4. shot put, 35-0.75.

Zachary Preheim: 4. 110-meter hurdles, 18.93; 4. 300 hurdles, 50.40.

Andrew Sheffler: 2. 400, 59.64; 3. 100, 12.13.

Seth Topham: 1. 110 hurdles, 17.59; 1. high jump, 5-6; 2. 300 hurdles, 45.92.

Sheldon Wiebe: 1. 1600-meter run, 5:06; 1. 800-meter run, 2:14.62.

4x100-meter relay team (McLaughlin, Topham, Preheim, Sheffler): 3. 50.72.
