Peabody-Burns High School bowling team recently competed in two meets.
The Warrior bowlers earned their second victory Jan. 26 at home by defeating El Dorado.
The PBHS team had a total score of 2,176 and El Dorado had 1,800.
On Feb. 2, PBHS came in third in a three-team competition in Wichita with Wichita Collegiate and Sacred Heart of Salina. Collegiate won with 2,229 points and Sacred Heart was second with 2,073. PBHS had a team total of 1,505.
The team will compete next at Northrock Lanes in Wichita against Sunrise Christian Academy.
Against El Dorado, Wes Shaw led the team with a high score of 596 — the highest on either squad. Kenny Battle had 557 and Kristen McGonigal had 514. Spencer Moffett came up with 509 and Emily Harris had 350.
In the three-team tournament with Wichita Collegiate and Salina Sacred Heart, Moffett led the team with 422. Wes Shaw had a 388 and Harris had a 351.
