The Peabody-Burns High School track team competed in a Central Kansas Track League meet April 26 at Herington.
Four athletes posted season-best results at the meet. Seth Topham had a high jump of 5 feet, 8 inches, surpassing his previous best by 2 inches, and earning him first place
Adam Sheffler threw the discus 57 feet, 10 inches, surpassing his previous best by 8 feet, 11 inches.
In the 200-meter dash, Paige Lewis and Beckah McCullough both posted a new season best. Lewis ran the race in 30.37 seconds, eclipsing her previous best of 34 seconds. McCullough ran the race in 31.30 seconds, passing her previous best of 32 seconds.
