Mr. and Mrs. Jay Pavlik of McPherson and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Gerhardt, also of McPherson, announce the engagement of their children, Courtney DeAnne Pavlik and Levi Joshua Gerhardt.

The future bride is the granddaughter of former Marion residents Bruce and Sandra Hett of McPherson, and Karel Pavlik and the late Jackie Pavlik of Coldwater.

The future groom is the grandson of Marion and Barbara Krentzel of McPherson, and Marianne Gerhardt and the late Raymond Gerhardt of Meeteetse, Wyoming.

Pavlik is a 2011 graduate of McPherson High School. She attended Kansas State University, and completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Kansas Wesleyan University in 2015. She is employed at McPherson Hospital.

Gerhardt is a 2009 graduate of McPherson High School, and graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in wildlife management. He is employed at Midway Motors in McPherson.

The wedding is planned for May 21 at First Christian Church in McPherson.
