Owner of leaky building located

The owner of a Main St. building in Hillsboro has agreed to fix its roof and repair masonry.
City administrator Matt Stiles said Tuesday that the city finally had been able to reach George Yang, owner of a two-story building that last was home to Quick Flick Video and Radio Shack.
The roof at 101 S. Main St. has leaked so badly and for so long that water has damaged the ground level of the building, which once housed a clothing store on its street level and an overall and coverall manufacturer on the second story.
Panda Kitchen is nestled in the back portion of the building at 107 W. Grand Ave. The roof over the restaurant has not been leaking. Nor has the roof over Mama C’s Take and Bake, 111 W. Grand Ave.
Yang initially was believed to be in China but eventually was traced to Wichita.
