Old West takes over park

Songs and yarns that recall the Old West will be featured by Cowboy Jack and Leona Griffith Saturday at Doyle Valley Farmers Market, Santa Fe Park, Peabody.

The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon and the Griffiths will entertain at 10 a.m. Shoppers are invited to have coffee, visit the booths, and enjoy music sung the “cowboy way” and stories for the young and young at heart.

Cowboy Jack, also known as Kenneth Griffith, began singing songs of the West and gospel music at age six.

Doyle Valley Farmers Market vendors will have new crop squash, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, and tomatoes as well as baked goods.
