Old Mill to run this weekend

The region’s oldest flour mill will operate this weekend in Lindsborg.

Old Mill Museum will hold Millfest, May 4 and 5, in celebration of the 100-year-old mill.

Area artists will demonstrate blacksmithing, quilting, carving, rope-making, wheat-weaving, broom making, and ceramics. Musicians will provide entertainment as well.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for ages 6 to 12. Children younger than 6 admitted free.

Admission includes a mill tour for ages 13 and up.

Tours for younger children will be available at 5 p.m. after the machinery is turned off.

Free carriage rides will be available Sunday evening.
