Theft
Wireless earbuds valued at $65 was taken between 1:30 and 2 p.m. April 18 at Nex-Tech Wireless, 3223 N. Ash St.
A suspect was identified and, according to police, admitted taking the item
MARION
Burglary
A burglar who broke into house under construction in the 300 block of Fink St. between 7 p.m. April 8 and 4 p.m. April 9 caused an estimated $1,170 in damage to a door frame before absconding with tools valued at $1,890.
Among the items stolen from Theodore J. Turk, 31, Marion were an oscillating multi-tool, a drywall screw gun, a router, a sander, a circular saw, two impact drivers, and two tool batteries, all bearing the Dewalt brand, in addition to a tool box and miscellaneous hand tools.
