HILLSBORO

Theft, criminal damage

A catalytic converter valued at $2,237 was stolen between 6 p.m. March 8 and 7:30 a.m. Thursday from a 2000 Ford F-250 parked in a lot at Hillsboro Ford, 202 S. Main St.

A saw appeared to have been used.

Police said Monday that no evidence had yet been uncovered linking the theft to a catalytic converter theft earlier from a truck parked at Pizza Hut.
