These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

Domestic battery

Drinking is suspected as a contributing factor in a quarrel at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 28 at a rural Goessel man’s farmhouse near K-15 and 120th Rd.

Deputy Landis Goodman’s report indicates that the homeowner sustained injuries deemed minor and that no weapons were involved.

A suspect described as the man’s wife, Kelli A. Olson, 48, was jailed for eight hours before being released on her own recognizance with a promise to pay $2,500 should she fail to appear in court.

Marijuana and paraphernalia possession, other charges

More than a gallon of green leafy vegetation thought to be marijuana was seized along with two homemade metal smoking pipes, three open cans of beer, an open bottle of vanilla brandy, and two open bottles of bourbon in a traffic stop at 7:25 p.m. Jan. 3 at Berry and Maple Sts. in Lost Springs.

Deputy Aaron Slater’s report indicates purchase or receipt of drugs or narcotics is suspected.

Calvin W. Lee, 49, Lost Springs, was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, transporting open containers of alcohol, driving without a license, displaying a license plate not assigned to his vehicle, and failing to display evidence of vehicle liability insurance.

He was released from jail the next afternoon after posting a $1,500 surety bond.

According to monitored radio transmissions, the vehicle was turned over to its registered owner, a Lost Springs woman who was listed with the suspect as co-owner of the vehicle on which the tag belonged.

HILLSBORO

Felony criminal damage, disorderly conduct

Police used surveillance video to identify a suspect after damage estimated at $1,861 was done at 3:24 p.m. Jan. 10 to a 2012 Buick Lacrosse.

The vehicle, owned by Lester Shaffer, 49, Hillsboro, was parked in a lot at his employer, Barkman Honey, 120 Santa Fe St.

Angela K. Vann, 36, Hillsboro, described in officer David Funk’s report as Shaffer’s former girlfriend, was arrested in the 400 block of N. Ash St.

Vann was jailed on suspicion of felony criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. She was released Friday after posting a $2,500 surety bond.
