These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

HILLSBORO

Criminal damage

Shots from a BB gun at 12:54 p.m. Jan. 1 caused an estimated $10,000 in damage to a 4-by-5-foot window and glass door at West Winds Storage, 136 N. Ash St.

Vandalism to the property, owned by Kenneth A. Koslowsky of Hillsboro, was reported by a visitor from Texas.

Charges against a 16-year-old Hillsboro resident are pending, according to Hillsboro police.

Possession of stolen property

Investigation by assistant chief Randy Brazil less than an hour later at a rental duplex a little more than a block north of the vandalism uncovered an apparently stolen $50 no-parking sign belonging to the city.

Charges, presumably against the same 16-year-old, are pending in this case, as well, police say.
