SHERIFF

Burglary and Theft

Dusten L. Plenert, 22, Hillsboro, reported Sept. 26 that a Ruger .9 mm, a 9-shot .22 revolver, a .380 stainless steel pistol, a Savage Axid bolt action .223, a SKS 7.62x39, a Remington .22-250, and a Milwaukee .5 inch cordless impact drill, together valued at $3225 were stolen from vehicles at 2270 Jade Rd., Hillsboro, between 1 a.m. and 6:25 p.m. Sept. 25.

Theft

Kellen L. Froese, 23, Lyons, reported that a 1999 Ford F-150 valued at $2,000 was stolen 120th and K-15, Goessel, between noon Sept. 24 and 10 a.m. Oct. 1.

Hillsboro

Possession of marijuana

Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in a vehicle Thursday during a traffic stop for a defective headlight and broken windshield. The driver took a DUI test. Test results are pending, but no record of an arrest has been found.

Marion

Domestic battery

A Marion man was arrested after reportedly closing someone’s foot in a door during an argument between 11 p.m. and 11:10 p.m. Sept. 28 in the 100 block of N. Roosevelt St. Donald D. Hokinson, 38, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery.

peabody

Battery

Kim Brashear, Peabody, reported being a victim of battery Sept. 17 at Peabody Market. No arrest was made, according to police reports.
