SHERIFF

Theft

Amy J. Human, Augusta, reported Sept. 16 that a Honda 4-wheeler valued at $1,000 was stolen from the 1800 block of 60th Rd. between 11:44 p.m. Sept. 13 and 12:05 a.m. Sept. 14. The 4-wheeler was recovered Sept. 14.

Burglary

Connor J. Nightingale, Goessel, reported Sept. 20 that a laptop computer, PlayStation, and purse, together valued at $2,000, were stolen between Sept. 14 and Sept. 16 from the 200 block of N. State St., Goessel.

Hillsboro

Possession of marijuana

An Iowa man and woman were arrested after police spotted a suspicious vehicle parked at Subway, and smelled marijuana in the vehicle. Angela A. Burmeister, 29, and Harold C. Clark Jr., 50, were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, according to jail records. A report is pending.
