These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

Hillsboro

Possession of marijuana

A 20-year-old Hillsboro man was arrested Sunday after marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in a reportedly suspicious vehicle parked at the back of Hillsboro’s sports complex. Other occupants, who were juveniles, were released to their parents. A report is pending.

Marion

Battery

Michael E. Richmond, 58, reported being hit in the face and cut under his eye Aug. 5 in the 300 block of N. Roosevelt St.

Marion police were called to the address at 1 p.m. because a woman reportedly was yelling at another residence. The woman appeared to be intoxicated and was told to go inside the house she was at, according to police reports. Police were called back an hour later after the victim reported being struck by the woman.

Rexana Siebert, 43, rural Marion, was arrested on suspicion of battery and disorderly conduct.

Battery

Kevin W. Geren, 58, reported being hit in his arm at 8:11 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 700 block of S. Cedar St.

Janet Geren, 60, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of battery.

Peabody

Littering

Emily Tenant, Peabody, complained on Jan. 18 that someone was littering and smoking in a no-smoking area. The report was released by police this week, more than six months later.

Disorderly conduct

A person was arrested between June 17 and 18 on suspicion of disorderly conduct in the 300 block of N. Locust St. A report dated June 30 was not finalized until July 27.

Theft

Several election signs supporting county commissioner Randy Dallke were found burning Aug. 3 in the 300 block of W. 1st St. after being stolen from his nearby residence.

Battery

A Peabody officer tazed a 42-year-old Peabody man who allegedly was resisting arrest Aug. 4 after another person reported being threatened and physically abused by the man.

Mitchell W. McMillen was arrested on suspicion of battery, making criminal threats, use of a deadly weapon, interfering with law enforcement, being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and criminal damage to property.

Assistance was requested, but officer Megan Chizek was able to arrest McMillen before other law enforcement arrived on-scene.
