These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
Hillsboro
Possession of methamphetamine
Nine pills of depression medication and 0.6 grams of methamphetamine were found in a vehicle stopped for being driven erratically in the 400 block of Orchard Dr.
Charges against a 37-year-old Hillsboro man suspected of possession of methamphetamine, depressants, driving under the influence, and improper driving are pending.
Jail records indicate no arrest has yet been made.
Vehicle theft
Hillsboro mayor Lou Thurston’s stolen 2007 Honda was found abandoned May 22 at 280th and Jade Rds. near Durham. It had been reported stolen the previous evening from Willow Rd. near Park Ave. in Hillsboro.
According to jail records, no arrest has been made, but charges are pending against a 43-year-old Hillsboro man.

Criminal damage to property
Children are suspected of pulling flowers out of the ground May 16 at Morgan House in the 200 block N. Walnut St.
