SHERIFF

Theft

Theft of a silver 2006 Pontiac was reported Jan. 28 at 103 E. Main St. in Lincolnville. The value of the loss is estimated at $2,960.

Theft and criminal trespass

Theft of a 1998 Ford F-150 was reported Jan. 30 in the 800 block of 250th Rd, Hillsboro. The value of the loss is estimated at $7,500.

Theft

Theft of 10 24-volt batteries was reported Jan. 27 in the 2800 block of Zebulon Rd., Lincolnville, by Bob Bergkamps Construction, Wichita.

Battery, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

Deputies investigated a battery in the 100 block of S. Smith St., Lost Springs, and seized a mason jar containing marijuana, a dab rig, four glass pipes, marijuana in a paper bag, and six boxes of 410 gauge shells and other ammunition.

Theft

Helene M. Gibson, 20, Wichita, reported personal information and $100 were stolen online from a bank account at 5:29 a.m. Jan. 23 at Tabor College. The incident was reported Jan. 28.

Domestic battery

Joshua Loeser, 41, rural Marion, was arrested for domestic battery and possession of marijuana at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 2 for a physical argument between Loeser and his brother, a Hillsboro resident, near Floral Dr. and W. D St. Loeser was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital for minor injuries before his arrest. A warrant is being sought for his brother.

Theft

Gene F. Winkler, 77, Marion, reported a trailer worth $1,000 stolen between 8 a.m. Jan. 24 and 8 a.m. Jan. 29 in the 500 block of S. Freeborn St.
