Hillsboro

Theft

Hillsboro police responded to the 600 block of S. Main St. Jan 23, where money under the value of $2 was taken from the unlocked vehicle of Hollister Wolf, 26, Hillsboro, between 6:30 and 9 p.m.

Theft of firearm

Hillsboro police responded to the 400 block of S. Jefferson St. on Thursday, for a report of a handgun stolen from the unlocked vehicle of Dawson Dreher, 18, Hillsboro, between 12:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Marion

Minor possession of alcohol

Marion police responded to the 500 block of E. Main St. at 12:19 p.m. Saturday, arresting Bryce Naerebout, 20, Hillsboro, on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor, having an open container while driving, and speeding. Naerebout was stopped for speeding when the officer observed alcohol in plain view, and later found additional open containers in the vehicle.
