REPORTED

These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Burglary

A 1996 GMC Sonoma truck, two pieces of computer equipment, three new tires, 40 hand tools, $350 cash, and 12 personal checks were reported stolen before 8 a.m. July 14 from 2BL Tire, 193 120th Rd., just west of Goessel.

Deputy Derek Fetrow’s report listed no signed of forced entry.

The items, valued at $12,300 total, were reported missing by one of the owners, Addison Kaufman, 23, of the same address. The other owner was listed as Delton Voth, 55, who resides nearby on Alamo Rd.

Burglary

Two motorcycles — a 1967 Triumph TR6 and a unspecified Harley-Davidson — were reported stolen along with a 24-inch bicycle, two air compressors, and a Pioneer chain saw, together valued at $2,550, between 8 a.m. June 20 and 5:30 p.m. July 17 from an abandoned home near 130th and Falcon Rds.

Owner Harlan Bartel, 70, of North Newton reported the burglary. Deputy Larry Starkey listed no sign of forced entry.

MARION

Theft

Melissa Zieammermann, 41, of rural Marion reported that her son’s wallet, containing $200 in cash, $160 in gift cards, and his driver’s license, were stolen between 4 p.m. June 28 and 2 p.m. July 19 from a locker at Marion High School’s football stadium.

Forgery and theft

Kirk Sly, 57, of Herington told police that an unauthorized stranger cashed a $120 check on his account between 8 a.m. and noon July 10 at Carlsons’ Grocery in Marion.

Theft

Makayla Carr, 23, reported that a license plate registration decal was stolen between noon July 7 and 5 p.m. July 16 while her vehicle was parked along an alley behind her home in the 100 block of S. Freeborn St.
