Offense reports released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
HILLSBORO
Domestic battery
James A. Schafer, 44, Hillsboro, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after he allegedly grabbed his girlfriend’s arm and pushed her in the presence of officer Randy Brazil during a disturbance at 5:41 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 300 block of Date St. Brazil reportedly found marks on the victim’s arm.
MARION
Domestic battery, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
Victoria Kesler, 21, Marion, told police a former boyfriend who had been drinking and using drugs threw a pepper shaker at her, striking her in the head, at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 20 at her residence in the 300 block of N. Roosevelt St.
Assistant chief Clinton Jeffrey reported discovering trace amount of marijuana and two glass marijuana smoking devices when searching a suspect.
Clifton Block, 56, Marion, was arrested by Jeffrey around 4 a.m. and booked into jail on suspicion of domestic battery and possession of drugs and paraphernalia. He was released without bond later in the day.
Burglary, theft
Jessi Lewman, 18, reported that a debit card was stolen between 8:10 and 8:40 p.m. Dec. 15 from her car while it was parked at a residence in the 200 block of N. 1st St. Officer Bryce Suffield reported finding no signs of forced entry.
Minor with alcohol
Assistant chief Clinton Jeffrey reported that two minors were found with alcohol at 1:05 a.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Kellison St. during a traffic stop for failure to dim headlights.
