According to offense reports released Friday and Monday:

SHERIFF

Burglary

Six firearms, together valued at $1,550, were reported stolen when a burglar broke into a farmhouse between 2 p.m. Jan. 7 and 3 a.m. Jan. 8 on 350th Rd. between Chisholm Trail and Diamond Rds.

Resident Galen Crum, 65, listed the missing items as a Soviet SKS 39mm rifle, a Winchester .44 magnum carbine, a Winchester 16-gauge shotgun, an Ithaca 12-gauge shotgun, a Remington .222 rifle with scope, and a .177 pellet rifle.

Deputy Travis Wilson’s report listed a stepchild as a suspect.

Burglary

A Winchester model 1890 22 rifle was among several items reported as stolen Jan. 6 by Ron Suderman, 71, Hillsboro. No value was provided for the gun, or a 55” Vizio television that was taken from the home on 130th Rd. between Indigo and Jade Rds. Other items included coins, jewelry, perfume, jewelry box, silver dollars, Vietnam war medals, a black leather coat, a Stihl chain saw, a space heater, and a tool box, all valued at roughly $1,160.

Possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia

Marilee Catherine Burge, 22, Hillsboro, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia Saturday in an apartment complex in the 400 block of S. Ash St. after police investigated a report of an odor of marijuana.

Theft

Charges of felony theft are pending against a Wichita man who allegedly stole a car owned by Joshua Friesen, 33, Hillsboro, between 4:30 p.m. and 5: 5:30 p.m. Jan. 11 from the 100 block of N. Main St. The suspect also reportedly took Friesen’s wallet and its contents. The vehicle was recovered on Friday in Wichita and returned to Friesen.
