According to offense reports released this past week:

SHERIFF’S

Theft of property/services; felony

Terry Bandy, 64, Canton, reported that 71 crude oil barrels were taken between 1 p.m. Sept. 5 and 1 p.m. Sept. 6 from oil fields on Timber Rd. between 90th and 100th Rds. outside of Peabody. The barrels, owned by TePe Oil and Gas, Canton, were valued at a total of $2,846.

Marion

Possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, transportation of an open container of alcohol, no proof of liability insurance, and no tag light

Alexander Diaz, 19, and Troy Ingram, 22, both of Kansas City, were arrested after allegedly committing a traffic infraction at 11:08 p.m. Sunday near Industrial Rd. and US-56.

Officer Lee Vogel reported smelling marijuana coming from the vehicle. Canine officer Legion was deployed. A search of the vehicle allegedly yielded three plastic baggies of marijuana, two marijuana grinders, and an open container of alcohol.

Diaz was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, transportation of an open container of alcohol, no proof of liability insurance, and no tag light.

Ingram was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and transportation of an open container of alcohol.
