Fuel theft

Jerry Hanson, 43, Lincolnville, reported that between 3 a.m. and 2:46 p.m. Sept. 12, $15 worth of gasoline went missing from his residence in the 400 block of Lombard St. Police reported signs of force were evident.

Hillsboro

Vehicle theft

Ashley Lutchka, 21, of Hillsboro, allegedly took car keys from an unlocked garage and stole a 1991 Buick LeSabre, valued at $500, from a home in the 200 block of S. Birch St.

The Buick was later recovered by the Kansas Highway Patrol at milepost 9 on I-135. Lutchka was arrested for vehicle theft and burglary.

Marion

Disorderly conduct

A woman was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct for becoming verbally abusive after police allegedly warned her to “maintain civility” at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7. She was reportedly retrieving personal items from her ex-boyfriend’s house in the 600 block of Sherman St.

No name was given in the official offense report. However, county jail roster shows that Marion police booked Tasha Erb, 21, of Moundridge, on Sept. 7 on charges of disorderly conduct.

Battery of law enforcement officer

A man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, pedestrian under the influence, interference with a law enforcement officer, and battery of a law enforcement officer at 7:25 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 600 block of Sherman St. Police reports indicated that the man used a personal weapon to assault officer Lee Vogel. Reports also said the man was suspected of using drugs and alcohol.

No name for the offender was given on the official offense report. However, Aaron Unruh, 36, of Marion, was booked into county jail on Sept.6 by Marion police on charges of battery of law enforcement officer.
