According to offense reports released this past week:
SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Trespass
BNSF Railroad reported trespass on railroad property that happened between 10:05 and 10:21 a.m. Aug. 30. in the 500 block of Mustang Rd., Peabody. According to Peabody officers, a man was arrested for lying on the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe railroad tracks. Sheriff deputies reported no signs of forced entry.
Felony Theft
Rilee Skeen, 23, reported a 2013 Ford Focus, valued at $16,000, stolen from his residence between 12:01 and 5:00 a.m. Aug. 29 on 60th Rd. between Remington and Quail Creek Rds. Police reported no sign of force.
Reckless driving
An offense of reckless driving was reported between 6:42 p.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 200 block of B St., Ramona.
Hillsboro
Theft
A 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier, valued at $1,500, was reported stolen at noon Saturday and located at 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of N. Jefferson St. with $500 of damages. Charges are pending against a 15-year-old Hillsboro juvenile.
Theft
A license plate, valued at $25, was reported stolen (time and date of theft were unknown) from a 1997 Honda Civic parked in the 200 block of N. Ash St. The Civic’s tag was later discovered on an abandoned vehicle in Wichita. The abandoned vehicle had been stolen from Herington.
