These offenses were listed in reports released Friday:

Theft

Brandy Remmers, 34, reported the theft of 60 muscle relaxant and opioid pain pills valued at $50 from her residence east of Lincolnville.

Remmers reported the theft, which she said occurred between 4 and 4:30 p.m. April 6, to Sheriff Rob Craft on April 10. Craft listed no signs of forced entry in his report.

Electrical supplies valued at $35 were reported stolen from 102 W. Santa Fe St. sometime between March 17 and April 8.

Driving under the influence

Stopped for a defective mirror, Debra Willingham, 48, of Marion, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and allegedly transporting an open container while operating a motor vehicle April 11 at the intersection of Elm and Main Sts.

Violation of protection order

Joyce Loomis, 42, of Marion, was arrested after allegedly violating a pretrial protection order by entering a property on April 11 in the 400 block of 4th St.

Transportation of an open container

Stopped for an unspecified infraction Saturday on US-56 near Industrial Rd., a driver and passenger allegedly were found to have been consuming alcohol while driving.

Transportation of an open container

Allegedly driving 39 in a 65 mph zone and impeding normal traffic speed, a motorist was allegedly discovered to have been transporting open containers of alcohol Saturday on US-56 near Industrial Rd.

Driving with invalid license

A motorist was discovered to have an active confirmed warrant and suspended driving privileges after being stopped for a defective tail lamp April 6 south of US-56 on Eisenhower Rd.

Marcus Orear, 32, of Hillsboro, Dylan Martin, 21, of Lehigh, and Brandon Hayes, 24, of Newton, were arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia April 14 in the 400 block of S. Freeborn St.

Police initially stopped the group for an attempted break-in. Assistant Police Chief Clinton Jeffrey reported that the drugs and paraphernalia were in the cab of the vehicle, within in reach of all the occupants. Jeffrey searched the vehicle after finding an open container of alcohol.

In addition to drugs and paraphernalia, police said Orear was arrested on charges of transporting an open container, and found to be operating the vehicle without liability insurance.
