Possession of hallucinogenic drug
Kobey Turner, 22, of Oklahoma City, was accused of possessing about $120 worth of marijuana after a search of his vehicle on US-56 in Marion at 11:17 p.m. on July 17.
He was charged with possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well as having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. Officer Brandon Mitchell reported that Turner also possessed a roll of cash totaling $1,221.
Criminal damage
Randy Kelsey, 48, of Marion, reported that a side mirror valued at $85 was broken off his truck while it was parked at 700 S. Freeborn St. between 4 p.m. July 18 and 7 a.m. July 21.
Identity theft
Tyler Smith, 27, of Marion, reported July 16 that a friend stole his Social Security number in December and used it to obtain a credit card and obtain benefits valued at less than $100,000.
Domestic battery, criminal restraint
Brandon French, 18, at 102 S. Santa Fe St., Marion, was accused of hitting his spouse with an open hand after physically restraining her from leaving their apartment just before 4 p.m. July 21. The incident was reported by a third party.
