Possession of drugs with intent to distribute

Marion County Sheriff officers discovered a marijuana grow operation at 7:10 p.m. Sept. 20 in rural Peabody. Officers found 11 marijuana plants, a blue glass pipe, a brown box with battery pipe, and an orange bottle with green vegetation. Four charges — intent to cultivate and distribute narcotic drugs, possession of hallucinogenic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use, and a lack of drug stamp — are pending against two individuals, Sheriff Robert Craft said.

A theft of 150 gallons of unleaded fuel, valued at $540, was reported at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 16 at 2206 360th Road Herington. The unknown person broke the lock on the gas pump to recover the gas.
