After more than 35 years of banking, Don Noller has been promoted to the position of executive vice president and cashier at Marion National Bank in Marion.
“In a small bank like this, my duties don’t change too much,” Noller said in a phone interview. “I guess they thought that I had been here long enough that I deserved to be promoted, hopefully that will include a pay raise.”
Noller started working in the banking industry part-time during his years in high school and college.
His first job post-graduation was at Chisholm Trail State Bank in Wichita. He worked there for six years before moving to Emporia, where he worked another 20 years. Then, on Sept. 1, 2003, he started working at the Marion National Bank. He has held several positions, and has enjoyed the banking in a small community since his start date almost 10 years ago.
Noller said he looks forward to serving the Marion community as long as he is able.
