Neil Colle

Services for Neil Walter Colle, 77, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Marion Cemetery.

He slipped away peacefully in his sleep Monday, July 27, 2026, at home in Maryland. He had fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer with the support and care of his loving wife of 46 years, Deborah.

Born April 7, 1949, in Emporia to Wayne and Eula (Tosh) Colle, he received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Kansas State University and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He remained a loyal fan of Cats football and basketball as well as all things K-State and was proud of his son, who also served in the Air Force.

Neil retired as an engineer from PEM Manufacturing in McPherson.

In addition to his wife, Neil is survived by son Chris, brother, Brent, and many family members and friends in Kansas, Maryland, and New Jersey.

Special thanks go to nurses Marley, Matt, Becky, Marianne, and Cindy, who gave Neil gentle and loving care.
