Bessie Michaelis celebrated her 95th birthday with family and friends on Sunday at Peabody Senior Center.

Approximately 85 people attended the party, including Michaelis’s family from Oregon, California, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

Refreshments served included cake, mints, punch, nuts, and chocolate candy.

Michaelis’s daughter Sharon Oursler said that Bessie was happy with the party, and was grateful for all of the people who attended and cards she received.
