A group of 25 Farm Bureau women had an all-day party last Wednesday at the county lake, and 11 remained for the night, returning home on Thursday. Among the group was Mrs. O.J. Roberts, a young lady of 83 summers, who enjoyed camping out quite as much as any others of the party.
The annual piano recital of students of Viola Thompson was given Friday afternoon at the Methodist church. The prelude was a Mother Goose playlet with Wanda Lee Williams as Mother Goose, Donna Powell as Mother Hubbard, and Johnny Newcomer.
The famous announcer, Alexanderio Caseo, was Junior Case, who announced the numbers given by the following pupils:

The Girl Scouts will have a rummage and food sale Sept. 5 at Reinke’s Grill.
Mr. and Mrs. D.B. Jantz moved to El Dorado. Mr. Jantz will teach in the junior college at El Dorado this year. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Post moved this week into the house vacated by the Jantzes. Mr. Post is manager of the alfalfa mill.
Nadine Noll of Florence is staying with her grandmother, Mrs. Rosse Case, this week while attending Institute.
Ruth Jo Willming will go to Lehigh Sunday where she will teach the primary department.
