The Sabbath School picnic will be held in Central Park, Marion Centre, on September 11th. A procession will form at Muddy creek bridge at 9 a.m. and led by band up Main street to Cottonwood Valley Bank, thence back to Central Park. Exercises will open at 11 o’clock.

Wagon load after wagon load of cane daily passes through town for the Sugar Factory, and if you don’t think things are booming “over there” just go and see for yourself.
