Mr. Fox, partner in the Sugar Factory Company, was in town yesterday. He is pleased with Marion Centre.

Mrs. Perkins informs us that she has received a full stock of spring and summer millinery, to which she invites attention.

The Central Kansas Telegraph, the new German paper to be published in Marion Centre, will appear next week, as we learn from the editor.

Jesse Phillips inserts a card this week announcing himself ready to do stone work and to furnish stone for parties. Jesse is one of the pioneers here, and we commend him to all.

The meat market firm of Jones & Yeagley has dissolved, Mr. Yeagley retiring, and Mr. Polk McMillen taking his place. The new firm has rented the room vacated by Corbett & Bown, which has been nicely fitted up for them. Success to them.

Sanford & Sons drug store has been finally removed to the elegant new Williams building, handsomely fitted up for them, and in Kable and Grady’s best style. The counter and shelving are really fine. A beautiful soda fountain has been put up where lovers of this refreshing beverage may cool their tongues this summer. The whole establishment is an ornament to the town.
