Charley Marsh, Peabody marshal, is here today with four small boys from 11 to 13 years of age, who were caught after they had broken into stores and stolen articles at Peabody. They also went to Newton and stole a couple of bicycles. They are to be taken before the juvenile court this afternoon.

Fred Batt bought a Hudson Super-Six last week.

0rville Powell, Clarence Zigler, Cedric Smith, Homer Garrison, and Maurice Wolf left Monday for Larned to spend the harvest in the wheat fields.

Marshal Eichenberger of Florence brought a Mexican up the last of the week whom he lodged in the county jail on the charge of murder. The Mexican hit another Mexican on the head with a monkey wrench, killing him. Which seems to be a crime nowadays.

Jacob Batt drove a couple of Hudsons, a Supersix and a Speedster, down from Kansas City last week.

Mrs. Fred Oyer entertained her Sunday school class of girls at her home for a slumber party Tuesday night and on Wednesday morning. She took them on a hike for a picnic breakfast. The class is Lois Johnsmeyer, Mildred Good, Mary Good, Edith Keazer, Marjorie Pierce, Helma Stone, Edna Schafer, Gladys Schafer, Ethel Dockstader, and Inez Richardson.
