Melva Kay Jacobs

Surrounded by her family, Melva Kay Jacobs, 76, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Nov. 5, 2017. She was born July 25, 1941.

Melva was preceded in death by her loving parents, her beloved infant son, Kenneth Leroy, and her six brothers and sisters.

Melva is survived by her adoring husband, Charles Jacobs; daughters Anita Julian-Volker and husband, Gary, of Stafford and Vicki Julian-Hinds and husband, Russell, of Claflin; sons Tony Julian of Stafford, Gary Julian and companion, Amy, of Stafford, Andrew Julian and wife, Jennifer, of Geneseo; and stepson Tim Julian and wife, Donna, of Hooker, Oklahoma. Melva left behind 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial dinner will be held at noon Nov. 19 at the American Legion on Main St. in Geneseo, Kansas. A private family service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Ellsworth County Medical Center through Baker Funeral Home in Wichita.
