Mary Massier

No services are planned for former Marion resident Mary Lois Massier, 84, who died Aug. 1 at Rivers Bend Retirement Center in Kuttawa, Kentucky.

A retired elementary and music teacher, she attended Christian Fellowship in Benton and was a member of Daughters of American Revolution.

Survivors include a daughter, former Marion physician Kim Marie Hall of Benton; a son, Kirk Dean Massier of Edgerton; and a granddaughter.

Her husband, Darrell Dean Massier; her parents, Ivan and Marjorie (Banker) Hooper; sisters Iva Koleber and Betty Young; and brother John Hooper preceded her in death.
