Oct. 16: Marion police officers conducted vehicle maintenance. They assisted an elderly man with directions and a broken down motorist. Officers also broke up a fight. They assisted with an out-of-control inmate at Marion County Jail.

Oct. 17: A gas skip was reported. VIN inspections were conducted. A complaint of kids playing in a storm drain was checked. Officers also checked a complaint of a dog at-large.
