The following incidents were reported by Marion law enforcement:
Theft
Someone entered a residence at 329 N. Elm St., Marion, at 8 a.m. Sept. 24 and removed $1,000 from the residence. The incident was reported Sept. 28 by Denzel Lane.
Domestic battery and vehicle theft
Devin M. Sullivan, 413 S. Roosevelt St., Marion, reported at approximately 8:20 p.m. Sept. 26 a domestic battery had occurred and a red 1993 Ford Explorer, valued at $1,200, was taken.
Driver arrested
A vehicle was clocked going 32 mph in a 20-mph zone at 10:56 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 900 block of East Main Street, Marion. During the traffic stop, the officer noticed an odor of alcohol coming from the driver. The driver was administered and failed field sobriety tests and was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Vehicle theft
A 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis, valued at $3,000, was taken at 1 a.m. Oct. 2 from the Keith Collett residence at 602 Hudston St., Marion.
