Marion Farm and Art Market opens season today
Marion Farm and Art Market will be open today and every Wednesday of the season from 5 to 7 p.m. in Central Park.
Coordinator Carol Laue said sales would not begin until the courthouse clock struck 5.
“It’s only fair for buyers and sellers,” she said.
Early season produce will be available along with honey, eggs, and baked goods. Art is also welcome.
“Art makes our market different,” Laue said.
Booth space is free, and the last Wednesday of each month will be open to flea market items.
Nonprofit groups that would like to serve meals at the market are asked to contact Laue at the market.
