Sally Matz’s children hosted a birthday party for their mother Sept. 15 at the Peabody Senior Center. She celebrated 90 years.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale attended Sally Matz’s celebration as did Ronnie and Pattie Gaines, Marie Clark, Mack and Hadlye Clark, Zeola Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.
Sunday dinner guests on Sept. 15 of Ronnie and Pattie Gaines were Jim and Sally Abel, Jean Gaines, Vickie Gantz, Shelly Harper, and Dusty Gaines. The group all attended the birthday party in Peabody for Sally Matz.
Nathan Koehn and Dalen, Beth, and Cody Koehn were dinner guests on Sept. 15 of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie and Carolee.
Gloria Handle of Baxter Springs came to the home of her mother, Marie Clark on Sept. 13 and spent the day. She was an overnight guest. On Sept. 14, they went to the home of Peggy Van der Weg to attend a baby shower for Andrew and Nancy Van der Weg. Gloria returned home after the shower.
In the evening on Sept. 14, Marie Clark joined others to help Chris and Janelle Stucky celebrate their 10th anniversary. They renewed their vows at their home near Peabody.
