Man injured in wreck taken to Wichita hospital

Although a Saturday evening rollover on the Marion / Butler county line trapped a man who had to be taken to a Wichita hospital, few details are available.

The motorist whose car overturned at 10th and Mustang Rds. was freed by Peabody rescue squad members and firefighters. Hillsboro ambulance took him to Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.

Deputy Bruce Burke went to the scene, arriving minutes before Butler County deputies, but they took over investigation of the accident.

The name of the driver and the circumstances of the wreck were not available from the Butler County sheriff’s office.
