Luetta A. Enns, 84, of Hillsboro died Thursday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro. She was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Goessel to C.R. and Martha (Funk) Duerksen. She was a homemaker.

She married Lauren Enns on May 7, 1948, in Lehigh.

She is survived by her husband, Lauren of Hillsboro; one son, Jim Enns of rural Hillsboro; three daughters, Kathy Goentzel of Harrisonville, Mo., Teresa Bernhardt of rural Marion, and Sherri Sells of rural Marion; three brothers, Harlin, Willis, and Gerald Duerksen; one sister, Irma Groening; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Alicia Pippin in 2005.

Services were Tuesday at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Jeff Wintermote officiating. Burial was Tuesday at Johannestal Cemetery, rural Hillsboro. Visitation was Monday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

A memorial fund has been established for Mennonite Central Committee.
